Here are today's Neverwinter Nights forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

    Authenticating Game... Again???

With all due respect, Derek, you keep reposting this as if you're hoping a light bulb will suddenly come into being over our heads and all dissention will evaporate. While there are people I'm sure that haven't seen this post yet, the majority who are as passionate as I am about this issue have, rest assured, read every single post in this topic with great interest, including the several repetitions of the above.
Fair enough, but even in this thread, people have posted saying that we have never given an information on why the Premium Modules work this way, even though I had already posted about it twice. The majoriy read the first page and the last page.As long as someone keeps posting that we didn't have to do it this way, I feel it is necessary to post stating that it was either the online method, or no more modules or patches for NWN. As long as some keeps posting that we created created new technology for this method, I feel its necessary to post stating that we are using the existing CD Key system that has been part of NWN for the last 3 years.
Quote: It's only because I care so much about Bioware, and the quality of its products, that I'm even motivated enough to say anything. Many times I've seen "so, what? just vote with your wallet". Well, while that's sound logic for those that actually make a purchase, since those "votes" automatically get "counted" for each purchase, it's not as easy for those of us who "vote" thumbs down, since this vote isn't as obviously counted. Hence my post. It's simply there to register yet another nay vote. Besides, it's the phrase in your own post "we are still watching", that actually encourages my no vote...
Absolutely, and I have no problems with people doing this. We are not only "still watching" but as stated still investigating an off-line method, as we are keenly aware of this issue. My only reason for reposting the same set of information is to clarify the two issues I mentioned above.

    Premium CD
For clarity; it would be WotC for the content approvals and Atari for doing a retail CD.
