Here are today's Neverwinter Nights forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

New screenshots for Pirates of the Sword Coast
More stuff a' coming to be sure. :)

    New premium mod very soon?
Hehe, glad you're all having fun. For the record, that interview was written a couple of weeks ago. ;) Ahoy, there be land on the starboard side, mates!

    Bits of New Premium Module

Are the tilesets and such from the new pirate module going to be availabe for general use? The tileset used for the screenshot of the man floating on water looks exactly like something I was thinking I was going to have to build...
As with the 1.66 update released this week (which contains new game content from the Kingmaker, Shadowguard, and WW premium modules), we plan to release more content to the community in future updates. We haven't yet sorted out which content or when it would be released, but it is something that we are discussing.

    1.66 Patch FAQ
There was an issue with the patch files that were uploaded to the Atari patch site. We've redirected the auto-patcher to use only our site, so you shouldn't encounter the patching related issues anymore.

    NWVault interview... yarr

I just hope they made some progress with their authentification process... [IMG]
Sorry, there has been no change yet in the authentication process.

    166 Linux Dedicated Server
There has been problems reported with the Linux Dedicated server. We are aware of them and are working on a solution. We appologize for the problems. It is unfortunate that no problems were not reported in the 166 beta 4 patch which is identical to the final 166 build.

    Linux error

Besides the duplicate files, there is also the fact that the HotU patch does not contain any XP1_*.nwm file, while the download instructions on the website say we are supposed to download the SoU patch if we have SoU but *not* HotU installed. In this case, how are we supposed to get the updated versions of the XP1_*.nwm files?
There are no nwm fixes for XP1 included in XP2 as a general rule. since we don't know if you have xp1 installed or not. That and there haven't been any changes made to them :).

More: We're currently in the process of rebuilding the linux files. I'll post a message once they're repaired.

More: The tar balls are mostly correct, but to be safe, we're rebuilding them all. This will also have the correct linux server.

More: The linux files have been fixed and re-posted. Please re-download them and all should be good :)

    Linux 166 patch
The web pages are a bit behind in reporting the size of the linux files. The patch sizes should be between 80 meg and 115 meg (largest being German XP1). The web pages should be updated shortly.
