Here are today's Neverwinter Nights forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

    A tribute to Gary Gygax
I got to meet Mr. Gygax at GenCon in the year before we released NWN. When I talked to him about it, he commented that he had heard that Neverwinter Nights on the computer could turn out to be "electronic crack" :) He was smiling at the time, so I firmly believe that he was paying a compliment. A very nice fellow.

Very very impressive work and it certainly deserves some attention. You should punch Jay to give this a BioWare Wednesday showcase item some time!

Those crazy Germans, I tell you... :p

Seeking futuristic fileset for DOOM module

www.20mm.net is the best place to start looking, however IMHO there is the pretty large flaw that Doom is Real-Time skill-based, but NWN is turn-based and character based. So just trying to do doom in the NWN engine wont work. Plus there is the character class stucture of D&D to think about (why would you be anything other than a cleric? especially at low levels). Personally, Id say that the visual differences are the least of the problems with a "doom module".

I dont mean this is any sort of negative way, I just wanted to make sure you had thought through some of the problems youll have before you start investing a lot of time/effort in it!
    I guess you meant d20mm.net :)
