Here are today's Neverwinter Nights forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Just a quick clarification on the Diamond package...
Hi there. I have read your e-mail and the page several times and I must admit that I am a little confused over what you are asking. The box and the web site state that you are getting 3 Premium Neverwinter Nights Modules and 3 Premium Neverwinter Nights Modules are listed (ShadowGuard, Kingmaker, and WW Remastered). There is no mention of Pirates of the Sword Coast on the box nor the web site.

    Does that help at all?

    More:
    * Does it contain a manual? The box I purchased feels a bit light, and I hate to open to check as it is a gift.
No manual - please direct all feedback to Atari about this decision. There are PDF manuals installed and a number of online resources.

Quote: * Are there any issues with Diamond that I need to pass on to the new owner? Or is it good to go?

    What two tilesets?
Please remember that we're talking about patch sizes potentially in the hundred+ meg range. 1.67 is likely the most sizeable release we have ever done for NWN, apart from the Expansion Packs.

I believe (I might be wrong, Derek would know) the Live Team is looking into making the tilesets available as optional download in the auto patcher and they will be featured for download on the official website and probably get exposure through a newsletter which means that it is very likely that you can rely on everyone who is still involved with NWN having them ready to run on their harddrive. There is a difference between a free hak on NWVault and official content available through the Bioware website.

A few people don't like downloading non official stuff, but this official, high quality content made available through the official webpage of the game, published by the developers of the game.

It's not like there is a real difference between a hak sitting in the hak directory and a bif sitting in the data directory, the end result is the same, except that one of them is optional.

I think it's necessary to allow people who are not interested in them to opt out of downloading such a huge package, through I don't think many of the people still playing NWN will do that.
