    Sewer Tileset Emulation
You can definitely make your own sewers in this game. Adam and I every once and a while take one of the more "sewer like" interiors and slap down some shallow water just for the heck of it and it looks simply unbelievable. Reflections of the pillars, refraction of the drainage grate and floor beneath the water, etc...

I think you'll be pretty happy with it. ;)

did I mention I'm really really! excited about E3? >< Keep up the good work peoplez
I wouldn't expect to see anything like this (meaning custom sewers) presented at E3 since I guess we're not "officially" shipping any sewers? But, rest assured that you can definitely create some slick interiors with a little creativity.

    New Screenshots!

Looks like someone over at Atari finally pulled their finger out. Brian Lawson will be pleased at last.
Someone after my own heart!! Yes, I'm feeling a *little* bit better now. But there's still more goodness to come... ;)

Game engine uses FX model format?
Yes, we wrote a MAX export plugin to get data into our format.

    Our community & statistics
I'm going to step in here and ask everyone to pause and take a step back. Let me start by saying that its very cliche to coin the phrase "what is this game to you"? Out of any overused phrase in any form of entertainment NWN is probably the most befitting of it.

The reason I bring this up is that unlike so many games or movies who claim to be something unique and variable to a wide variety of people, NWN really is a number of different things to different people. Its almost a little mini industry within an industry much like MMORPGS are A subcategory of PC RPG business. NWN is its own thing that is quite unlike any other game out there. Personally I'm surprised that after the wild success of the first game we didn't see every company in the business trying to make its own NWN clones to capatilise on the multi-tiered appeal this type of game has.

My point is that both Obsidian and Atari understand this. Regardless if you design modules, make custom content, build persistent worlds, love playing multiplayer, or just like a great single player RPG, we acknowledge and value all aspects of the community equally.

Our goal is to support all the different catagories of enthusiasts equally and as best that we can.
