Here are today's Neverwinter Nights 2 forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

Just a comment on magic graphics.
Justin Cherry painted that concept art and he is also creating all the spell effects. We can't wait to show you guys some of the spells :) I don't think you will be dissapointed.

    Improved Aurora in NWN2?

I hope that the toolset will alow a builder to apply bloom (with custom parametres) to some areas of the module while not to others...
It will. You will have complete control over all of those settings for the various stages of the day/night cycle...to include things like the sunlight direction, colors and intensities, ambient lights (yes plural) colors and intensities, bloom settings, cloud cover, shadow intensity, and the list goes on. You will find out quickly that the new lighting engine is extremely powerful.

    Improved Aurora in NWN2?
No. Unfortunately, you can't have everything. ;)

    Crafting Interview with Ferret
Well I was going to wait until tomorrows update to post about this (but the cat always seems to get out of the bag early) Im going say people need to stay on topic and stop sniping at each other from all sides! And I do mean ALL sides!

If you cant say anything nice and or positive, dont post! I'm getting complaints from all sides and enough is enough!

Lastly, people need to stop insinuating that anyone speaks for either myself or Obsidian in any semi-official capacity. I give a certain leeway to the mods and that's all. If your not a mod then dont do it!

I'm not going to play favorites here people. If you thought it was draconian to simply delete posts and ban people for blatant attacks on the developer that's the tip of the iceberg. I'll even be more draconian and start booting people with zero warning and you can all hate me instead of each other.

Clean it up, or take it to another forum!
