Here are today's Neverwinter Nights 2 forum highlights, collected by NWVault from Obsidian Forums. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

    mo-cap & animation question(Devs needed)
No, we are not using any mo-cap for animations. Trent, Zaza, and Ryan are doing all the animations in the game.

Screen Capture - TGA or JPG?
Just to toss in a comment...a lot of game developers use TGA files because:

    1) it's lossless (i.e. usable for screenshots that are released)
    2) it's dead easy to implement

    Multiple textures per mesh?

Um, if we're only using a diffuse layer, does this mean we won't be getting bumpmapping?.
You've misunderstood. We're only supporting a single DIFFUSE map. As it's already been stated, we're supporting at the very least normal mapping in addition to the diffuse map along with the possibility of other yet undisclosed maps.

Clothing colors. Preset palette or color sliders?
We have a nice solution for allowing you guys to custom colorize objects. I think it will provide more than enough of what you're looking for.

    vertex colour and opacity
No. We're using a different system that doesn't need vertex colors.
