Two minor changes I'd like to see...

Quote: Presently when you right click on things such as creatures and placeables you get a pop up menu that is a bit of a short cut allowing you to go to inventory, variables etc.. I'd like the script set page added to this right click menu if possible so you can right click on the creature, placeable then just click 'scripts' to go right to that items script set.
With the way the new UI is organized, this no longer really applies. :D

Difference between pixel shader 2.0 and pixel shader 3.0

NWN2 will not even use all of the features that branch of NVidia GPUs (NV4X) supports.
    Says who?

Difference between pixel shader 2.0 and pixel shader 3.0

That sounds great :) I was not aware of that. So we can expect that we will see full engine usage of the vertex processors "new" texture access with all the eye candy that we can imagine. Early outs for optimal performance on our hardware and a little dynamic branching for more smooth and very nice soft shadows ?
Some of those features are already being employed. However, I do find it amusing when people "buy into" feature hype.As you may or may not know for example, vertex texture fetching comes at a price. While it is certainly cool, it's not always all that fast in terms of performance and there are a number of restrictions on texture formats etc. Just as an example...That aside, I try as hard as I can to take advantage of the features that will REALLY benefit the game.Like you, I'm a huge fan of 3.0. If it was up to me personally and I didn't have to worry about catering to a large install base...I'd say 3.0 only and all the way!! :D That mainly stems from the fact that 3.0 makes my life a good bit easier in terms of implementation details etc. But, there are a ton of 2.0 cards out there at the moment and by the time the game ships I do believe that 3.0 will be the "mainstream" shader model with 2.0 gradually starting to slip more into the realm of "legacy". Hardware evolves fairly quickly in this industry, so keep in mind that it's possible ATI's next card ("supposedly" to be announced any day now) may already support the "rumored" unified shader model for DX10 to be included in Windows Vista (Longhorn). Talk about exciting!

    More:
If you really are writting "two" version one for shader model 2.0 and another for 3.0 then I must admit I am a little amazed, thats VERY impressive.
The bulk of it is already done. In fact it has been mostly done for some time now. Now I just itterate and make improvements as well as add new features.
