What I want to know is how does your character orient to the walkable surface? If I make a verticle cliff and then make it walkable, will my feet be flat against the surface making it seem like I'm standing sideways? Or will it look like I'm rising up a verticle wall?

I'm hoping for true orientation via the angle of the plane I'm standing on. That will make for some really interesting building...

It depends on the creature in question... bi-peds standing on a slope will not tilt with the ground (they'd fall over! :) ) but creatures with more legs will.

More: The "align with ground" flag on a creature isnt related to the "walkability" of a piece of the walkmesh. That is... the alignement with the ground is purely cosmetic... it doesnt allow the creature to walk somewhere it otherwise couldnt. Its just there to keep things from looking silly when they're moving up or down a slope.

Its probably worth noting also that no part of the walkmesh can be completely vertical. It can be very very steep... just not vertical. But you *can* make those very very steep slopes walkable if you want... though we take no responsibility if it looks ridiculous. ;)

You'll be hard pressed to run the game with that card.

As for the original question...no, we won't be forcing any kind of AA on you. We may just leave it off all together and allow you guys to pick and choose those types of settings through your video card settings in the control panel, or we may provide and in-game way of setting them. I'm not sure yet.
