[IMG] I played thru BG1, BG2, IWD, TOTSC, HOW and am going to do TOB, ROMD and NWN with my character, a neutral Good Fighter Thief Half elf named Altalus (after a guy in a david eddings book). anyone else doing the same sort of thing?
also, does anyone know of any other Forgotten Realms games where you create your own character?

[IMG] I play BG-1 ToSC at the moment where I just dualled my fighter to a thief and reached fighter lvl-6/ thief lvl-5.

Just like my old dc fighter-mage, dc fighter-thief and mc and dc thief-mages I´ll take him over to BG-1 and to NWN then.

Actually, no. Not to IWD anyway. I'm not sure about NWN, although last I heard it was supposed to be possible. But there was some debate around here as to whether or not that was an error. Anyone?

[IMG] I´m optimistic - I like to believe that I can take my chars to NWN, though I don´t know anything definite.

And yes, you can´t export your chars to IWD - there seem to be some differences, though you don´t notice them while playing.

You can't export BG characters to IWD. This fact is even stated in the game FAQ and the readme if I remember right.

As for NWN, yea, you will be able to import your BG chars... But after the process of incorporating them into the game you'll probably be left with nothing else but one step in the character creation process less. Don't count on this, rather plan a new char for NWN is my advice.
