    I found this site yesterday and spent the evening playing old NES games. There are a lot of different console games on this site that you have to have a paid subscription but all the class NES games are included in the free subscription. Lots of fun for you oldschool gamers. Check it out.

    This has got to be illegal as all hell, especially considering that Nintendo is now re-selling official versions of classic NES, SNES, and GEN games on its new Wii console.

    Yeah - not sure if old Nintendo games are really fair game as abandonware anymore seeing that they've found a new way to sell them...

    Despite the legal BS listed on their page, the whole service is completely illegal. They are skillfully exploting a few legal loopholes and prior court decisions in their favour, but it'd never hold up in court. It's merely a sham for them to be able to say that they're legit. Nintendo most likely just didn't bother with a lawsuit because it's a relatively low-profile site.

    I suggest that if anyone wants to play the old Nintendo classics again, get a Wii. The only good reason to support abandonware is the games not being sold officially anywhere any more. Now that Nintendo is selling them again via Wii, this excuse doesn't hold up any more.
