need thieves guild key help

    I had the key to the thieves guild, given to me after I killed old Maevar (sp?). It's the key to use to go see the Linvale (sp?) guy. Now it has disappeared. Either I had a senior moment and dropped it, or someone pickpocked it. I would like the CLUE console cold for the key if anyone has it and the location of any pickpocket that may have been so daring as to stick their hand in my pants.

    I don't know of any thieves, but a command is MISC4S, I think.

    you dont get given the key to see Livail after killing Mae'var. You only get given that key after you give Gaelen Bayle 15k in gold.

    Plus after you do over Maever you go pay blood scalp (cant remember his name???) a visit to collect your reward... think its a nice little short sword of backstabbing in it for you too...

    you're all right of course and I appreciate you pointing out exactly exactly when I got the key.

    But I did have the key and it became lost and thanks to "Warrior of the World" I have a new one. Thank you

    You don't need that key, there's a door just outside of the Thieves Guild, which you can enter without using a key (it's barred in Chapter 2, but open in 3)
