That sounds like a nice, basic party to me. Strong, yet varied, fighting classes, a decent healer, thief skills and plenty of bombadier/summoning capacity. You will be pretty melee heavy, though, so I'd recommend giving your rogue some wizard levels for those handy buff spells which you wouldn't bother wasting a sorcerer's spell slot on. Give him the expertise feat and a few defense spells (i.e mirror image, fire shield, stoneskin etc) and enough rogue levels to get at least the first evasion ability and he will be an excellent scout/stealth bomber. A for race, I like tiefling, but rock gnome, drow and halfing are also good choices for this build. Oh; and keep the monk. I hear Deep Gnome martial artists own like no others.

    Have fun :)

[IMG] With the half-orc Fighter/Barbarian, one quick suggestion. This applies to your Paladin also.
Go 4 levels of fighter, At least! that way you can get the 3rd Feat in your weapon of Choice. I chose to start with a Lawful Good Fighter, and took him up to Lvl 10, and then went Full paladin of Helm. I suggest something similar for your Barbarian. Start him as Chaotic (Good/evil/neutral) Fighter, get him to at least 4, and then take him to a Barbarian. Lots of Fun there.

And if you want to have a Wiz, Make your Monk Evil (Dark Moon Brotherhood) and you can Multi him to a Sorcerer. Can get some handy bonuses there..

For cleric, I suggest an Aasimar, Morninglord of Lathander or Stormlord of Talos.
Aasimar paladin and half orc barbarian with 4 fighter levels both, they are all the tank that you need.
Thief should be Tiefling with wizard levels after getting 10 levels of rogue.
Deep gnome monk is not a pure tank. He has different use. He is the best magekiller in the game. He is a great decoy at high levels, very very hard to damage whether he is attacked by weapons or spells. He has spell resistance, awesome AC(yes, he can easily get over 40 with some support), evasion, good saving throws(all) and more... I love this guy. :) Only downside is 1 skill point/level. :(
    STR 16 DEX 18 CON 14 INT 3 WIS 20 CHA 1
    AC at level 20:
    Base - 10
    Armor - 4 (Mage Armor)
    Dexterity - 4 (18 DEX)
    Deflection - 3 (Ring of Protection +3)
    Generic - 4+4+5 (Deep gnome bonus+1 AC/5 level for monk+Brazen Bands)
    Wisdom - 9 (29 WIS)
    TOTAL: 43
If you had a druid, you could reach 48 by casting "Barkskin".

Monks are very versatile and talented people. However, you will not be able to power all skills, so you should choose the best ones for you. When I play a monk, I choose to use him as a special operations guy; like killing mages or disabling powerful tanks such as Slayer Knights of Xvim. Stunning Attack and Quivering Palm abilities are priceless. A monk is highly resistant to everything when he reaches high enough level. Deep gnome is even better.
