Ok I got lots of things that i need help with and that i need to ask you all. You all have beaten the game more times then i have, So i hope you can all help me out.

Frist of My and friend and going to do a all hacked game(from that i mean from they looked like, i know not really hacking but he thats what he calls) I'm going to be Drizzt Now i did add him to my team to see his stats(debug mode) and this what i seen

Ok i know hes not a Fighter i know hes a Ranger But i want to know this the game missed any other things up on him. And i wanted to know what class and weapons his party uses(Regis, Bruenor, Wulfgar) i know ones a female but not sure what one that is( i think its Regis)

Ok next in line are there any items that will up my INT, like maybe a ring or glove? If so Please do let me know and where can i pick them up.

All right next Q up in this line up is, What is a really fun class to play, I'm close(or i think i am) to beating to game for the frist time with my Necro, I was thining about going with a Monk next time, But when i jumped into an one line game they was fighting the undead and i could not hurt them, Now do i need an item to hurt them like a ring or some thing, B/c i know a Monks best weapon is his/her fists and not weapons. And on a side note i have played a Monk is real D&D and they get a headband is this in the game too or did they leave it out?

And next one is if i take my necro into my friend game can i still turn in to a slayer or do i lose this power b/c i am no longer the main char?

I can help with some of the stuff.

1st, I have never read the books, and it has been so long since I've attacked Drizzit and his companions, that I don't remember what they carry.

They are some tough bastards in that fight, and since you don't get to keep their stuff anyway, it's really not worth attacking them.

There are no items within SoA to increase your intelligence, although there is an item and a device that each give you 1 point of intelligence increase in ToB. The only way to increase intelliegence in SoA is in the trials in hell.

As far as what characters are fun to play, I usually go for multi-classes for diversity and more abilities. That is completely a personal choice however, and I can't tell you which one you would have the most fun with. If you are a power gamer, I'd recommend either the monk, the undead hunter, or the inquisitor, all of which are ridiculously overpowered at high levels. The monks don't actually get head-bands, but there are ioun stones that are equipped by placing them on your head that all characters can wear. Typically characters that cannot wear helmets (like the monk among others) use ioun stones. Characters that can wear helmets usually go for helmets instead of ioun stones as the helmet protects against critical hits.

Only the main character in a multiplayer game can turn into the slayer, so if you import your character into your friend's game you will not be able to turn into the slayer, but he will, but if he imports into your game, you will, but he won't.

Drizzt, Male Drow, Ranger, dual wielding scimitars
Bruenor, Male Dwarf, Fighter, Axe+Shield
Wulfgar, Male Human, Barbarian, Warhammer
Cattibrie, Female Human, Fighter(i think?), Bow, longsword in melee
...and of course
Regis, male Halfling, Thief, Mace

Thanks you two. I think i will keep going with my monk after i beat the game with my necro. Just have to get past the dumb Black Dragon!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

It sounds like they've mad Drizzt more like the V3 version. He is still classed as a ranger, but in the Forgotten Realms manual he has 1 level Barbarian, 10+ levels Fighter, and a few levels of Ranger.

I don't think it matters anyway in the game as with his armour he loses his Ranger stealth abilities anyway.

Monks are cool characters, just specialise in a weapon that can be +5 for those rare occasions when your fists won't do the job.

Isn't there an armour that you can use as a Monk, if you have the right stats. I think its Keldorns, Anomens or Valygars - can't remember which.
