[IMG] When in the city of Ust Natha I am given the "slaying a beholder" quest by Phaere and I complete it. The problem is that I can't get to the next quest after the Eye of the beholder quest. Phaere says to meet her in the tavern in three days but I can't get go there in three days as it always says that I have been discovered after about 2 and 1/2 days? I have tried to go before but she says "Male/Female I have no time for you now" or something close to that. I have replayed this chapter 2 times now and it does the same thing every time. I have the newest patch 23037 so I'm not sure what the problem is? Am I doing something wrong here? Can any of you give me some advice?

    Thanks in advance

You don't need to wait the full three days, but if you take any longer it is bad. Have you tried going to her directly after the beholder quest? I'm sorry if this is a bit obvious.
There is probably a way to change the global variables using CLUAConsole.

    P.S. Welcome to the Boards!

Thanks for your response. I did try to go back to her many times before the three days was up but her wouldn't talk to me.

I have however figured out what was wrong. Before going unto Ust Natha I always cleared out the other tunnels but it seems that if I collected the eye stalk first (from beholder city) then it seems to throw off the game's timing. So I went back to my save games and went to Ust Natha before getting the eye stalk and now everything is fine.

Thanks again for your help and your welcome

This is odd. I always clear all three cities (Kuo-Toa, Beholder and Mind Flayer) before ever going into Ust Natha, and I've never had this happen.

It could be a one-time bug.

    Same here, Ziad.

It sounds to me like he killed the wrong beholder. The one Phaere wants you to kill is in the bottom right of the city, and has nothing to do with the eye. The eye is from the elder orb that matron mother wants you to kill later.

But if it works now, I guess it doesn't matter anymore.
