    Quick question in Nebs house , the portrait is trapped , when I get my thief to disarm trap , it triggers and cause 55-60hp damage.

    Regardsless to say my thief dies out right. Is there anyway around this, I have tried a number of protection spells.

    I was never able to successfully disarm that trap. Instead, I always sent a fighter with high HP's to absorb the damage. Painful, but it works!

    Your thief is incompetent, dope him with a number of super-thievery potions and try again. I always managed to disarm that trap :D

    What I liked in Neb´s house: If you kill Neb quickly, the ghost-children will heal you whoile party as a reward for their freedom. ;)

    Ragusa , best you watch your knees , because Jan is far from incompetent , if you want to talk incompetence - goto Yoshimo , no he's crap as a thief. I tried the potion thing , drank 4 potions , still took 40+ damage , but did'nt kill Jan so that was ok.

    Thats right, I remember now he free's you from the jail, but only after asking you that silly riddle about how many children he has killed etc ,I think the answer to the riddle was 30. If memory serves correctly.

    Glad the little man is DEAD... may just go back and stomp on his grave a bit.
