    For any one that likes American football, the season starts tonight at 8:30 EDT on ESPN. My favorite team the San Francisco 49'ers are taking on the NY Giants in NYC. New York City is pumped up about the anniversary of 9/11, but I still think we can take them ;) If they can take the western division from the Rams, I think were looking at the Super Bowl :) So whos your favorite team and who do you thinks going to the Super Bowl.

    My favorite team is the San Diego Chargers. I seem to pick teams that suck (also a Boston Red Sox fan).
    The Rams are a good pick for the Superbowl. They should have won last year, but that's what happens when you take a good team (defense) too lightly.
    From the AFC? Perhaps Pittsburgh.

    You are very optimistic about the 49ers. I don't think that they will take the division, perhaps a wild card. Still seems unlikely, but the Patriots won the whole thing last year, so who knows.

    I'm from Pittsburgh, but I'm not incredibly optimistic about my team's performance. It'll be great if they go, but I just don't know.

    NFC? Maybe the Rams, they've still got a pretty solid team.
    AFC? No clue.

    They had a set of outstanding receivers a few years ago (maybe they still do?), but the main reason is their name... being a swede, you have to love the Vikings. :D

    Oh, I also have fond memories of when the Colts most awesome offense (Manning/Harrison/James) first came together. :eek:

    A pretty surprising opening weekend, I'm sure everyone has noticed. geenidee, I wouldn't say that the Texan suck after their performance in their win against the Cowboys. Keraptisdm...that was a great game. The Steelers were manhandled like they were team of small girls. :rolleyes:

    Sorry, Earl Grey. Your Vikings just couldn't hold on against my Bears. :D

    Yes, the 49ers are looking good. It must feel nice for them to be back on top. Oddly enough, the Chargers are 5-1. I'm not getting my hopes up though.
