Nate's Ring and others

    [​IMG] I can’t open one of the chests ( that holds Nathan’s Ring of Ram) . I tried force/magic/lockpick etc.

    Can my Sorceror/Paladin learn new spells via bought scrolls/spells etc? The wizard has no problem learning new spells

    I’m using the walkthrough by kaichern tee and he has mapped out a scheme for winning the battle square. Why not win 3 in a line instead of trying to win as many squares before completing the line? Does it add a bonus/diff prize?

    Try this for the ring.
    Kill the golem and loot every other chest in the room. Sound stupid, but you should be able to open that particular chest then. If not, try open the door then back to the chest. i can't remember it clearly but i don't think there is a need for special key to open this chest, or is it...

    As for the battle square,
    You win 3 a line, you only win the first level. You have to complete all 5 level to win a rank. Only winning a rank will give you the prize that listed.

    There's nothing special needed to open that chest. I've played through the Ice Temple more times than I can count, and I've always been able to just open it. Just make sure you open all the other containers first. Also, you don't need to pick the lock or anything like that; just open it normally.

    Wizards are the only characters in the game who can learn spells from scrolls. Clerics, Rangers, Paladins and Druids get new spells automatically as they level up; Bards and Sorcerers can choose additional spells as they level up.

    you need to have all three sisters key in your inventory and something more i've forgotten, sadly. maybe you need to open the door first.

    are you sure you entered this room via picture-teleport ?

    A futile attempt,
    There are 3 rooms in the same level which look like the priestess' room; they all have a single bed. Loot everything inside and keep them in your inventory.
