[IMG] Is anyone else having problems logging into multiplayer sessions or onto internet games? I've seen a few beta servers come up lately and I've wanted to try them. Every time however, I am booted because of a server error or some such. What's up?

Am I missing something? I'm registered. But I can't log into any online games. Help!

You're missing something alright. You're missing the PWC file or somesuch. Basically, in order to play online you need to download the walkmesh of each and every area that server has. Obsidian claims they might make it an automatic download in a future patch, but for now you have to find that server's Web site, go there and download the walkmeshes before you can actually log on and play. If they ever change any areas guess what? You'll need the new walkmesh.

Uggh! I don't like that one bit! NWN was so much easier - just create a character, log in, and go to town!

Obsidian should make this a priority...Why do they seem to be suppressing multiplayer? That was NWN's strongest feature!!!

aye that part is anoying, on nwn1 servers, you at the max had to download a hakpack or two. and some portrait files and music files (am I destroying my point ;) )

Part of the problem is they don't make this very clear. I don't think there's any mention on the box or manual about this and when you try to log on to an MP server you get some obtuse error message.
