    I've just started playing with my friend but when I recruit in the game for example Imoen, he can't control her, only I can. Is there some way how could he control, let's say, his character + 2 NPC and the rest would be controlled by me? Or the only solution is, that we both would create 3 characters ... no NPCs.

    I believe this is done with the 'Character Arbitration' button. IIRC it's on the left hand side of the game screen.
