    Multiplaying the official campaign is not possible? I tried to play with a friend and we could not enter the well. It's meant to be like this right?

    Yea, the OC is not multiplayer compatible. You might want to check out the nwn vault to see if they have a module that recreates the OC only in the multiplayer compatible format.

    The problem being that HOTU was specifically designed to be single player. It is "something to give back to our dedicated fans". Just not the ones that have friends apparently.

    while EXTREMELY aggrevating, :mad: this can be overcome. actually, trying to play any part of this game multiplayer can be VERY trying at times, and I'm almost to the point of quitting. :mad: BUT, here are some ideas to get past the well.

    One character can normally go down the well. If this is the case, simply have the other members use the Reaper Stone to Jump To Leader. That is actually to most handy trick for almost every multi-player issue. (except in the last part of Chapter 2. :almostmad: There, you will mostlikely have to go it alone. I was never able to successfully run through the last battles of chapter 2 without it crashing to the desktop - however, that is possibly fixed with the patch. :rolleyes: - thanks bioware)
    If niether can get down the well, start a new game with one character, go all the way through the beginning by yourself. Go down the well. THEN have the other guy join your game. When he does, he will get stuck in the dream. DO NOT attack the drow there. Use your reaper stone and jump to the leader. Hope this helps.


    and yes, this game really does make me this mad. :flaming:
