Mouse keeps freezing

    On both IWD1&2 my mouse freezes right after the opening credits and I have to CAD to get out and it seems like the whole thing freezes. Technically, I can move the cursor for a fraction of a second after the credits but then it locks in place.
    I'm running Vista and I've tried turning off UAC and using compatibility mode and the other tweaks like disabling visual themes and what not. I also tried using the microsoft application compatibility toolkit.
    Has anybody else had this problem? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

    [​IMG] I seem to recall an issue with logitech. What mouse and keyboard are you using? Are they wireless?

    Have you got DirectDraw disabled?

    Icewind Dale is set in a very cold region of the Forgotten Realms. You're mouse should have a coat at the very least.

    Not applicable for IWD2, but have you tried enabling 3d acceleration in the config utility for IWD1?
