Most Powerful Caster PC ever!

I, hereby declare that my PC is by all means the MOST powerful caster in the game!

He is a Druidic Sorcerer, so he has sorcerer spell ability in addition cool and useful druid spells.

His spell picks as Sorcerer were excellent. His druidic spells rock, like Creeping Doom, Fİrestorm, Nature's Beauty, healing etc. I can put them in triggers and contingencies.

He has coolest mod items. SoM, Robe of Vecna, Ring of Truth, Gloves of that sorcerer in PS mod (look at my PS mod topic), Cloak of Vecna, some boots which give non-detection and increase movement, amulet of power, Merlin's cap which gives bonus spells as well, belt of inertial barrier. He also took Vecna's eye and plucked it in his eye socket.

With all mod items and PS mod rewards, he has 110 Magic resistance, other elemental resistances are 50-75 thanks to itmes, and DS HLA.

He has BOTH sorcerer HLAs and druid HLAS via special ability button. He can cast each twice per day. This means he chooses HLAs like a sorcerer chooses spells to cast. he can cast a total of two sorcerer HLAs AND a total of two Drıid HLAS.

With all those items, and a DS HLA which further increases casting speed, he casts ALL spells instantly. I push Time Stop icon and it is casted. Instantly.

For some weird reason he has constant Improved Alacrity. He can cast all spells continously, instantly. I don't knmow the cause? Saving planes? Killing Vecna? Having his eye? Having ALL set of items he has:his robe, cloak and eye? Or Mystra's blessing? Sorcery power granted from insane sorcerer? (for more details look at my PS mod topic.)

His saves are all below zero except death.

He learned Quentitestinal magic. He casts once per day, a fiery inferno, a torrential cacophony, or other cool hings which reduce ebemies resistance to zero instantly.

Some DS HLAs gave him improved spells:

Mordenkainen's magic misiles:With some luck lots of misiles, even infinite!
Controlled Weboes not affect allies.
Improved Ghost SHield:stacks with everything.
Otiluke's imp. resilient sphereoes not allow a save.
Cone of Freezing COld:Freezes (paralyzes) enemies.
Major Globe of Inv:Blocks up to 5th level spells.
Delayed Blast Explosion:15d6, party friendly, save for 3/4 damage, not half.
Immunity to Energy:+%100 resist to all energy forms.
Greater Shapechange:Standart shape change+RED DRAGON.

Yes, I CAN shape change into a Red DRAGON, complete stats, breath weapon, and wing buffet included. COOL!

Gained a special ability from Planar Sphere mod.
he casts a ritual and it does 100 damage to all nearby enemies. No MR or save. NICE!

DS HLA:Immunity to most things:charm, dominate, silence, level drain etc. %+inate elemental resistance+immunity to poison.

With Time Stop, Chain COntingency, Imprisonment etc., sorcerer, druid HLAs, spiffy DS special magic, sorcery ability, he rocks.

His number of spells are incredible, thanks to items, and Vecna's eye used.

1st level:4O spells/day (right, forty spells!)
2nd level:16
other levels are 9 per day
7th level:10 per day
9th level:8 per day.

This includes all useful and powerful sorcerer spells and DRUID spells when I wish. And these will improve as I level up.

So, finally, I again bet that my DS is by all means the most powerful spell caster PC! And this is before he did hell trials or Ascension and Bhaalspawn powers!!!

So what do you think? Do you think your mage or sorcerer is better? Are there any canditates for the most powerful caster PC?

Sorry if I annoy you a little bit, but I HAD to share this power with you. He is so freakingly powerful, casts ALL spells, cast SO MANY spells, casts INSTANTLY, casts RAPIDLY, has BOTH Sorcerer and Druid HLAs, has very spiffy uniques abilities as well and well he is one nad caster. Perhaps even equal or greater in power with Elminster or Khelben or other famous people?

If all this sounds like power gaming to you, forgive me please. I have every mod possible to make the game harder and always play on insane and I have my fun this way.

Anyway, what do you think? I am curious about your comments!

 

Well, DS is a mod, and it would be easy to make kit mod of a class that could wipe the floor with Druidic.

Druidic Sorcerer Is a mod. Severely overpowered if you ask me, can wear armor and cast, receives HLA that can kill anything etc.

 

I like my boosted 3-class character with 13 mln xp at the moment . He triggers many helpfulls spells (protection, haste), casts Time Stop and then makes Wirlwind Atacks with Carsomyr +6 and hit less than -12, not to mention permanent strenght 23.
65% magic resistance and AC -7, all saving throws below -3. Of course I can give him other broken equipment, but the party needs them = .

I would test him against some bosses if only hadn't stuck because white dragon doesn't cast Drow illusion. (I'm palying the whole 3rd time, as some previous script didn't want to trigger. I've never seen the final-final fight.)

 

I'm sure if I decided to use a Mage mod that gave me 50 spells of each slot and instant cast + every spell in the game that can be used with each other... I would have a pretty good caster too .

Forgot it was PC casters. But yea, without a mod DS would be the most powerful atm.

If it wasn't for those ignore magic resistance spells I'd say give me a couple of levels and it would be interesting to put my Wizard Slayer up against your Magic user. But those ignore magic resistance spells turn my wizard slayer into a wimpy fighter.

Yes I have a lot of mods, nearly EVERY mod possible.

Ugh, that permanent improved alacrity is a bug caused by the Druidic Sorcerer HLA 10th lvl Mage Spells, I restored my char and avoided it for now for balanced game play. He is still cool though.

 

Where can I find the mod for the this kit (Druidic Sorcerer) and also the equipment that you have (vecna combo)???

 

Vecna Combo is from Planar Sphere mod I gave link above. In the same link you can find the DS mod.
Ofcourse you should defeat Vecna's Shade for them. This is NO small feat, he gives 500 K XP!
You should level up quite much if you hope to survive I fear. This means the main PS mod quest should be triggered after Asylum at least.

Druidic Sorcerer is a great class, but somewhat buggy. And bugs are bad. I lost my DS abilities countless times until I found why?

You should never be level drained, or you will become a regular sorcerer. OR you should never CTRL+R yourself. This turns PC into a pure sorcerer again.

When the game starts, DS starts as a druid, he then 'casts' comething which is supposed to put druid spells into his sorcerer mage book, (if AI is off he does not do that and it causes bugs) then his class becomes a Druidic Sorcerer and you level up as a Level 1 sorcerer to choose your spells. There can be many bugs in this proccess.

You should install the first component of the mod to allow a DS use druid armor and weapons, HOWEVER it says that it causes bugs so I avoided it. No loss though, I don't need a bulky armor when I have BOTH Vecna's robe and cloak! And I definitely don't need to swing a crude scimitar when I possess the staff of which shows purest and most powerful magery.

All in all, this is a very neat combo! Cooler version of Cleric/Mages. TRY IT!

 

Heh, I wonder if they continue to improve the mod.
My first DS debut was quite... eh, flashy. I started as a lv1 DS with 1HP in a cage, and Jonbon came, "you ain't gonna throw rocks at me, are you" then he casted a spell, then I died, gameover

Btw, my friend is also a power-hunger freak and he's really pleased with this class. I think I'm gonna feed him the PS mod too

 

Ouch, that bug is ridiculous! Why did you start with 1 HP? Had an abysmal CON, and started playing on insane so that you did not get max HP, and started as a level 1 char? That way you can have 1-2 HP and Irenicus will be in a nasty suprise....and your unfourtunate char as well.

 

No, it's just that the mod sets my PC to lv0 so I can lv up, pick weapon proficiencies, spells and things... Sometimes the PC can even have 0HP and his portrait is darkgray too, but not dead.

I tried going to the tutorial and then export the PC, then import it back to a new game but, the game just sees me as a plain sorc. Heh, I had to pause the game right after it started, lv up and then everything was good, until I did something stupid and became a sorc again, maybe Ctrl - R

Although scrolling thru the whole spells book to pick one is quite tedius, the Quentitestinal magic is awesome and cool, you forgot to mention that it can nullify all immunity and resistance of every creature in the area, or does it not work ? I didn't get to test it on a real big boss, a shame ._.

 

Tested that cool one, and it works. Nullifies all MR and Magic Damage Resistance so you can easily kill anything with Abi Dalzim's Horrid Wiltings. And improved versions of mage spells are cool too, like I mentioned above.

ALthough buggy, it is a very cool and unique kit, and a great gaming experience!

Minh So, can'T you ever start the game as a DS succesfully? Keep trying, I hope you can. I managed to get a DS in fifth try or so. Importing DS characters won't work for some reason. That is because DS casts something (he extends his arms like casting) when he starts a new game, which puts D spells to S book, and marks himself as a DS. Maybe there is an innate ability to allow it. This way you can fix with it if anything happens. Gotta look through innate abilities in SK?

 

^Unfortunatelly, I won't be able to explore PS, as game started to crash in Navigator's Room. I think I will need to start from beginning after finishing ToB.

(Or maybe someone knows how this bug can be fixed?)

My Edwin right now has all 12 spells on levels 1-8 and only 11 on 9th level. With casting time reduced by 6 he can do many nice things.

 

Well I guess Edwin MAY be powerful, But my DS still has druid spells, sorcerer casting (no preparation), and many cool DS abilities. Oh and I was talkin about the most powerful PC caster.

Note to Myself: I hate Edwin. Polymorph him into a squirrel then petrify the remains when I get home.
