[IMG] Does anybody know which Druid kit has the best kick ass abilities?

Is the Totemic Druid any good? I think that the Spirit Snake could be very good (can't wait to see it coiling and writhing around), but how well do they fight anyway?

Also, what can the Avenger do? Can the Avenger really transform into a Wyvern and Sword Spider?? Can he also cast lightning bolts?

Hehe, i have a totemic druid and he does kick SERIOUS ASS presently. all of the spirit animals are awesome. i sent 3 into the troll pit in the druid grove and they would have killed everything if they had fire/acid attacks. the spirit bear is a tank that hits very hard. the lion is the best in my opinion because it has fast attack and speed. the wolf is like the lion but does faster damage. the snake has weak attack but poisons all the time and is very fast.

as for the avenger, he CAN cast certain wizard spells, making him very powerful. lightning bolt and call lightning are nice put together.

That's what I thought when I first met
Cernd, he's just like a Garou! Being able to have a Bastet(were cat) like shapeshifter would have been cool too.

Nah wolves are so much more lovable i think. Maybe it's just because i play werewolf too, but shapeshifter is definately the coolest druid class :D.

If you really want to feel like a Garou from WoD, what you need to do is make a fighter, then dual-class him to a druid at 9th or 10th level. By the time he gets that Greater Werewolf form, you have great hitpoints and THAC0, and with the statbonuses, speed, and attacks you get from the werewolf form, you become a true badass!!

But yeah, I have to say that the Druids have some of the best kits in the game. Other classes have kits which are really cool too, but all three of the Druid kits are great. I guess this is to make up for the fact that they can only get to 14th level.

You can't be a Shapeshifter if you dual from a fighter. You can only be an ordinary fighter/druid.

    Ordinary ? ORDINARY ?? You call my dualed fighter/druid ordinary ? :)

He'll slaughter any single class druid-kit without breaking a sweat ! Dual wielding those 2 +2 Scimitars he has 4 attacks with thaco 3 and 5, well over 110HP, and ALL spells the druid has. And his AC is about -8. Shield of Archons+Ironskins and he can even take most mages out, not to mention a mere cleric or fighter :)

Ordinary as in a general druid. i.e, no kit.

Well, I'm interested in playing a kit, so-o-o.......

I still can't decide which kit to use. I'd rather not waste too much time experimenting, but I want to know from your experince which druid kit rocks the most at high level.

A good indication of his "rockness" factor would be if he can use his abilities to go toe to toe with a Tanarr'i.

Do you have statistics for the spirit animals? Do you get to use all four at the same time and summon multiple ones?

Also about the Avenger druid, he gets a few lightning spells right? How can this be called good? Also, can he shapechange into a sword-spider and wyvern or does he only get an extra weapon proficiency slot?
