Im trying to play BG2 with my friend using TCP/IP but it refuses to connect i know my ip adress (the host one) is fine from playing football manager online, but he has a router and i read that this was a problem for hosting games but is it also a problem for joining them?

Also we have several custom portaits and soundsets i downloaded we both have the same ones i dont know if these are considered mods and need to be installed in the same order or not

Our framerate matches, we both have the latest patches and we have both made exceptions to the baldurs gate program in our firewalls ermm can't really thing of anything else significant.

Any suggestions as to what the problem could be would be greatly appreciated.
