At GDHardware, you can read more about the physics processor from Ageia. Here's a snip:

We've been reporting over a year now that this day was coming - the day that a new era of PC gaming would be ushered in by industry pioneer, Ageia. Today marks the first time we see announced games and the day hardware is released - albeit through OEM's at the moment - retail is coming soon. Today marks an important milestone for Ageia; not only because of new games announced but also because it embarks the first time customers will be able to get their hands on products.

Although we still don't know a ton about the PPU itself, we do know that the list of developers lined up to support the Physx processor is as impressive as it is long. Names like Epic, Big Huge Games and others have all pledged support in a slew of games coming out this year - 40 in all and a ton more in 2007.

    Read the rest at GDHardware.
