    After doing the Xan thing and getting him killed , I went and got monty's body , but what do I do with it , I'm just carrying the damn thing around with me.

    I hope you mean Xzar, Xan was someone else :)

    Hmm I let Xzar getting killed, talked with the harper and then the quest is over... so when you got the body, it's useless. You can bring it to Rajiek the Tanner, maybe he can use his skin? :p

    Where is Monty's body? I searched all over the harper hold and only found the stupid bird. Is there another way to finish the Xzar quest if you find the body before the bird? It's just that Xzar was one of my fav NPCs of BG1 and I hate it when bird-bitch kills him.

    Memo ----> That's the smae that I thought... Xzar casts a spell on the bird, the bird transforms into the woman who kills Xzar, and I also never found the body....

    the body can only be found after xar has been killed. Its in one of the trunk behind the bird cage area in the harpers hold

    Kinda strange, because on the tabel at the other side of the second stair is a letter that says after a few days Montaron will be released....

    All of that was a setup to dupe you into taking the bird to Xzar. They never intended to release Monty IMO.

    I think you're right.
    Another option is that they would release Montaron, but they changed their minds because they found out what kinda "friends" monty had :)
