Monk Abilities and HLAs... (possible spoilers)

    Ok, we all know that monks get the same HLAs as any other fighter, but they also have "ki". Right now my monk only has stunning blow and quivering palm...my question is, what other abilites will he get and what does each one do? Stunning blow is pretty self-explanitory, but what does quivering palm do? :rolling:

    I could say "rtfm", but instead I'm going to advice you to SP's quides / FAQ's / walktroughs for SoA (because there are some things the manual explains rather miserably). Seach for Monk there and you'll have what you need.

    Quivering Palm lasts for a few seconds and each hit to an opponent requires a save otherwise they die. It's very similar to the Death Blow HLA of the fighter.

    When I played through with my monk, I used the quivering palm about 3 times, tops. It's good, but it's not a skill that will make or break your game.

    That's exactly why I posted the queston. I've read both manuals all the way through and I was just as confused as I was before I started. :rolling:

    Thats ure opinion LKD, but ive used quivering palm to kill irenicus, all of the 5, Top fighters and a ton of others. The only thing it doesnt work on sadly is drags, and demorgen

    Uh, StrifeStryke, what I meant was that the skill was not something that you MUST have to get through the game. I'm well aware it's my opinion -- that's why it's right next to my name! :p I was speaking figuratively -- I'll try to be more literal in the future.
