I am just curious what the use is of this spell? So far, none of the FAQs/guides have any info on it cept those that is already shown in the spell info ingame.

Would appreciate it if someone can enlighten me on its exact use. 8)

It's worthless at first, but when you go up in levels, it becomes a formidable spell... It conjures a ghostly ballista you can fire repeatedly at the enemies. Fun. :)

    [IMG] Missile of Patience

    Range: 50 ft.
    Duration: Special
    Speed: 1
    Area of effect: Targeted Creature(s)
    Saving Throw: Special
    Description:
"Could this spell be any more useless??!" cried Eelnek, mage of Amnar. The bane of mages everywhere, could this be the practical joke of an arch-mage, or living dis-proof of the old Prime Material axiom that "good things come to those who wait"?

    Effect:
At levels 1-7 there is one missile thrown at target that can inflict 0-6 damage.
Levels 8-10 allow caster to throw one missile using summoned ballista at target that can inflict 2-20 magical damage.
Caster who reached at least level 11 will be granted with more powerful ballista that can fire at number of targets for about 15 seconds and each time inflict 2-16 electrical damage.

    -----------------------------------------

Note: this was supposed to be in Herf's walkthru, but he never finished it. So much for Slipknot affecting people to do good things...

[IMG] Ahhh, so that's why it seems so useless at first. Thanks for the prompt reply! The game still plays fabulous after leaving it in the dust for so long....heh heh.
