Misplaced Khalid and Jaheira

    I've been doing a solo game, but I needed some cash at the beginning so I joined with K&J long enough to sell off their stuff for a little extra gold. After that I left them in the inn and went on my way. Just now I came back and they're gone. Is this a bug, or do they eventually get bored and move on?

    I think they move on. This happened to me, too. I didn't pick them up the first time I reached the Friendly Arms but later in the game, after a couple of NPCs had been killed, I decided I'd get Jaheira and Khalid. But when I got to where they should be, they weren't there.

    If you let them in your party, and then decides to leave them, they will disappear and never come back. The reason to it is (my guess) they were supposed to take care of you until you could handle yourself. If you tell them they can leave, they proboably feel their mission is complete, and therfore leaves you, seeking another adventure... :)
