[IMG] Come to my rescue SP! Not really a rescue, but I was wondering if anyone had any links to where I can find some detailed, clear and concise information about what meta-networks are, what their purpose is and how it would apply to a large business. Also is it a substitute for T-1 connections or is it something completely different? IE can it work like a T-1 network from an ISP or is it simply intranet?

Any help is always appreciated, I had a client ask me about them today at work so I want to do some research so I know more. Yay learning!

    Thanks folks!

"Meta-networks?" Like networks under networks? If so, that's all about Internet is; a load of networks connected together with the help of TCP/IP. :hmm:

Yeah, a network of networks. I was curious because someone in the office was wondering about the cost efficiency of having that instead of a T1 connection for internet access. To my knowledge there's no Meta-Network ISP's but I could be wrong. I wanted to check it out for myself and learn a little more and pass it along.
