[IMG] I really don't know if this is relevant to ToB or SoA, so I thought I'd be safe and post it here...

I was flicking through the creature database on SK the other day when I noticed that there were three weirdly titled monsters - They all had names related to MDK2... Max, Doc, and Kurt. After a bit more checking, I also found an MDK2 scroll that seemed to do very little. I tried to CLUA:CreateCreature for one of them, but my game just crashed - does anyone know anything about this odd set of monsters/items? I'm willing to guess that it was a never-implemented Easter Egg: any more ideas?

PS If these guys really do crop up somewhere in the game, I promise to beat myself and go and read the FAQ ;)

They're just spaghetti in the game code. Things that were thrown in, then not implemented in the game.

MDK. This reminds me of Murder Death Kill ...

To answer your question: I have no idea.

    Yeah.

There's an MDK spell. Like everything else, I'm betting it had to do with the alpha and QA testers. It may have been a Kill-All spell, so that creatures that were distant or had magic immunities could just be whacked and the "Critical Path" guys could hammer their way through the story.

It may have been castrated before the final shipped. Extremist will know about this one.

The plan was to add the MDKII scroll to the game as cheat or as easter egg. This plan was never implemented - the creature animations are not in the game. This makes the scroll useless. It is supposed to summon all three heroes from MDK2 to fight on your side.

If you ask me, Bioware would have made a better job by adding this in the patch with plenty of never implemented quests. Instead of that, they've chosen just to add Deirdre in ToB final patch. Spit on me as long as you want, but I don't see how can Deirdre be more interesting as the patch "feature" than this scroll or completed Twisted Rune episode for example.
