  1. [IMG] I wanna know it is worth getting Mazzy as a replacmement for any of the following charcaters:
    Minsc
    Jaheira
    Valygar (sp?)
    Arie
    Yoshimo

My main char. is a dwarven berserker with grand mastery in axes.

PS - do u think my party is to melee heavy, cos I just reformed it and haven't tested it yet?

You can never have enough melee fighters for your front line and my party is just as heavy as yours, except I have different members in my party.

    Half-Orc Barbarian
    Minsc
    Korgan
    Valygar

There is my front line, my defenders, my damage dealers.

Nalia and Aerie follow in an arc formation and ties the holes together with defensive and offensive spells. If there was an NPC Fighter/Mage, I'd be very, very happy because I like to have magic on the front line during battle.

My only problem will be Jaheira, who I like to have in my party BUT her inability to be able to cast 6th level or higher spells (due to poor wisdom of 14) makes me want to leave her behind. If I find an item that raises wisdom to 18, it'll change my view on her. I like her personality and "mystery" as well as knowledge from a role playing point though, so it's a tough call.

I didn't like Mazzy when I met her in Umar Hills, I will give her another shot though when I stroll through her village and see how she fairs then.

Valygar is too hyped. I like him a lot. His attitude, his skills, his ability to hold his ground during battle.

Yoshimo I haven't explored yet, I'll look into that when I'm done everything else.

Hey, Sylvus, one important thing to note is that In BG2 the wisdom restriction does NOT apply as in the rulebook.

Both Jaheira and Aerie DO get to cast 6th level spells (and the heals certainly help), Aerie even gets one 7th level spell at the end (and a holy word can save your day...)
