[IMG] I have this feat on my barbarian, but I'm not sure if it is working.

When I use the power attack feat I get a notice saying that I am doing so. Should I get something when I use maximized attacks? Am I supposed to wait for some sort of graphic before I start attacking something?

you get no notice for using max dam.
be sure not to use any other combat skill such as power attack or expertise else max dam won't work.
btw this is an infightskill because it lasts only for 1 round.

By one round do you mean one attack or as many attacks as you make in one round?

That also may explain why I didn't notice anything as I may have missed the target and therefore didn't see any maximum damage. I tried it while doing level ten of the battle square and I know I wasn't always hitting the demons.

No point taking this feat unless you're a fulltime fighter and have nothing better to do with feat slots

by one round i mean one round.
it isn't that bad but i consider it to be only useful in HOF.

I think it's a bit more than one round.

I believe that one round in the game is 6 seconds.
Maximized attacks lasts 10 seconds, so roughly one round and a half.

It can be useful against a tough opponent and if your character's damage range is wide.
For instance, a high level monk's random damage part is 1D20 + 1D10. Average result 16.
With maximized attacks you can hope to place 6 attacks at 30 base damage each (+14 each).
    That's +84 total damage.
    Not too bad.

But imho there are much better feats out there.
This one isn't "crappy", but I can't see why some people make it into a "must-have" feat.

that would be a multiclass monk then ... requirement for max attacks is to have mastered 2 different weapons. you need a fighter for this skill.
