Very simple question from a very simple person. Including all of the books, what is the highest number that your stats (ie str, dex, ect) can reach?

    - Strength 19 (1 book)
    - Dexterity 20 for an elf, 18 for a dwarf or 19 for other (1 book)
    - Constitution 20 for a dwarf, 18 for an elf or 19 for others (1 book)
    - Intelligence 19 (1 book)
    - Wisdom 20 (2 books)
    - Charisma 19 at least for human and elf (not sure about max scores for other races and no AD&D books with me here) (1 book)

I'm in doubt if there are 2 Int or 2 Wis books, but correct me if I'm wrong...

If you are playing TOTSC, then there are 3 books of wisdom available -- taking you to 21. Awesome for a cleric or druid!

There is only 1 of each other book.

And the Kiel's Shield at Durlag's Tower can grant an additional DEX point... (21 Dex for an elf or halfling thief )

One of my favorite characters is a gnomish cleric/illusionist. With all the books, you can get to 20 in both wisdom and intelligence (gnomes have a maximum base wisdom of 17 and intelligence of 19). Your lore value is absolutely huge.

My favorite Character is a Gnome Illusionist. I just love that you can get 20 INT.

    Here's another question...
If you play through BG1, TotSC, BG2, ToB what is the max stats you can get?

Here's up to the end of SoA
    STR 20
DEX 19 - With an Elf. No stat increase here.
    CON 20 - with a Dwarf
    INT 20 - with a Gnome
    WIS 22
    CHA 19

This needs to be taken to another forum. I'll post the question in the ToB forum.

    EDIT: New topic is here.
