    I didn't see the movie but it really made me hate Mel Gibson, and now the goon has it's own island paradise? Sick sad world.

    A question: How much different is it from buying your own paradise island with funds acquired from making porn movies, sub-class movies, or out of crime? Why aren't people chastised for getting money from them, but are when they make a religious movie? Because he's abusing an icon? Well, to how many people is Jesus anyone important??? Well, unless somebody else is making money on Him, then it is ok if I mock Christianity?

    What is wrong with the guy? He made a good movie that a lot of people liked and made a fortune. I don't see anything wrong with it. What is wrong with him buying an island? Find something better to moan about

    The movie had dodgy latin and the languages were incorrect for the time period. I thought he was very arrogant making his own 'Jesus' movie. It would be better left to scholars.

    I actually liked the movie, that's not saying it was perfect or perfect;y historically correct, but the message still came through.
