Mage Spells - LvL 9

I was just wondering where I find those darn spells? 'cause I aint got no (LvL 9) spell, though I can use one LvL nine. I also wanted to ask if timestop scroll can be found somewhere, and if it is so, where? Can it be written?

 

u can't cast level nine spells because of the ex. cap, but u can get the scrolls and cast it from that

 

u could also find some(i think, im not sure) in athkatla in the promanade. on the second floor of adventurer's mart on the left hand side where that noble-looking lady sells illegal spells

 

you can buy lots of level 9 spells after you get out of underdark. Check out Ribald in waukeens promenade, I think he has the most

 

You are able to find the odd one or two lying about aswell
Personally i never buy spells but i still manage to accumulate level 9 stuff.

 

thats true too. u can find alot of stuff that people don't bother to sell.

 

'Tis good for BG2 that the exp cap does not allow lvl9 spells to be cast from memory, or the most popular class would be a mage and nothing else.
The only scroll I have never succeeded to find was the Imprisonment, others lie around after ch6 and ye are free to pick them up

There are many level 9 spells in the elven city too...though imprisonment is nowhere to be found.

 

Yes, Suldanalles... Sulderanesel... Suldaralles... Sulderasellan... the big tree house with all the elves in it has lots of level 9 spells to be found.

The ones Ribald sells are not cheap; 15K or so each!

 

If inprisonment was there the dragons wouldn't be much of a problem, since inprisonment bypasses magic ressistance and there is no saveing throw.

yes, in theory you could imprison dragons, but why would you want to? think of all the xp you would miss, it is about 55000 for killing firkragg ( which i finaly did this morning )

actually, the imprisonment takes the same exp. as if you did kill the person/thing but the downside is that you don't get the items...but there's always ShadowKeeper...

 

but shadow thief wat about the people that don't cheat?

Strangest of propositions it be. First, he suggests using imprisonment on someone when imprisonment cannot be used, even with XP cap removed and then he suggests compensating for items lost during the usage of imprisonment with shadow keeper. My, 'tis an ultimate cheater villian, i say...
