Mae'var quest

    Well at one point Edwin tells you to go kill some cowled wizard with a rather annoying name which I can't remember atm, so I go to his house next to the Galvarey Estate (the Harpers)and I take care of the mephits and golems, but there's no sign of the mage himself.

    If there's anything I hate it's unfinished quests, so does anyone know a solution?

    The mage himself is on the top floor, right after the Golem room. Just go up the stairs opposite of the ones you enter from.

    When he gives you the quest, Edwin mentions something about "He'll be home if the front door is open". Was the door into the house already open when you got there, or did you have to open it yourself?

    The mage's name was Rayic Gethras or something like that, he is in the third floor, there are stairs to the top in the room with golems, it is somewhat hard to notice, my friend and I could not notice it in first sight today! He is a hard nut though, especially if you are low level.

    TRICK TO KILL HIM EASILY:

    He will speak with you, DO NOT attack him, say you will leave. Let your fighters surround him, have your mages ready to cast a BARRAGE of MMisiles on him. He will be hostile if you stay there too long, but come on, you are there to assasinate him, DO NOT give him a chance to raise his contingencies, let your mages cast Mmisiles on him, (with a sequencer, it will be a massacree!) and at the same time have your fighters HIT him; if your timing was right, you can kill him outright as he has low HP.

    Though if you have Smarter Mages mode that plan will come to a dead halt. Good Luck, then! Have Fun!

    One of his buffs is Protection from Magical Weapons and Protection from Normal Missiles. I was so glad that Minsc was still carrying around that plain greatsword.
