I originally posted this in the SoA forum. Early Gray kindly asked me to post here :) My bad.

    Anyhoo...

Is level 15 too late for a Beserker to dual to a Cleric?

    I have ToB installed.

Are there enough exp points left to get my beserker abilities back?

Approximately how long would i be a 'naked' cleric?

I have five in my evil party.

I'm currently in Shahugin City. I completed all chap 2 quests (i think) except for Jaheria's.

You're still kinda early in the game, since the TOB expansion can go to lvl 50 you could get your powers back. Considering the rate of exp gain (reqs double) you should get up to lvl 3/5 by the time you enter the underdark. If you work hard you may very well be up to lvl 15 by the time you left the underdark. Mind you I've never dual classed before.

ToB does not go to level 50. It has an 8 million xp limit. A Berserker could reach level 40.

Level 15 Berserker means you have 1,750,000 xp in that class. To reactivate it after dualing to Cleric means you need another 1,800,000 xp (Cleric lvl 16).

For finishing the Sahuagin city (siding with either King or Prince) each character gets about 60,000 xp, so you will reach level 7 as a Cleric just for that.

As to reactivating the Berserker class, that is going to take a long time with a big party. It's still a good idea, so go ahead and do it. The biggest drawback is that you will only get to choose cleric HLA's, meaning no warrior HLA's like Greater Whirlwind. The advantage is that this way your character will be a solid fighter and also a top notch cleric.

A final comment: multiclass characters are better than dual class in ToB - quite the opposite from SoA.

    Early grey.........

Dual classing is much more useful for players with both soa and tob.

kensai\thief, assasin\fighter, kensai\mage and so on for ages.

but then again, im a big fan of dual classing :D

I strongly disagree with you there.
This has been discussed before so I won't go into why I consider multiclass to be superior to dual class in ToB.
