Looking to buy German version (digital)

    Hello!

    I've been searching for over two hours, but I've yet to find a digital (downloadable) purchase for a german version of BG II + ToB.

    Does anyone know if such a thing exists?

    I think the digital versions are only available in English - I looked around a bit and couldn't find it in German. But honestly, if you speak English, you're better off with the English version than localized ones.

    Ah, that's a shame if that is the case. Thank you for trying to help. I do speak english very well, and my mother tongue is actually norwegian, but I'm trying to learn german at the moment and I feel that exposing myself to german language in any way could be helpful.

    Ah, yes, the same as it's beneficial to play it in English to improve your English if it's not your native tongue. Well, you can still buy a boxed/JC version relatively cheaply on sites like Amazon.de... or is that not an option for you for some reason?

    I'm considering ordering it boxed. I originally wanted to avoid that since a) DL is faster and b) I don't have a CD/DVD-drive on my computer (but I guess that can always be worked out somehow).

    If anyone else is seeking the German version and stumbles upon this thread: I highly doubt that there exists a purchasable (or a pirate one for that matter) digital copy of a German version of BG II.

    Two options are available:
    1) Order the box as Tal suggested
    2) Somehow get a hold of the German versions dialogue.tlk file and voice files and manually replace them with your english ones. See this thread (in german) for more information: http://kerzenburg.baldurs-gate.eu/showthread.php?t=41053
