Hey, i'm looking for Cromwell the dwarf. He is supposed to put together some artifacts and I am sitting on a whole bunch.

    Wands of Lightning/Frost/Summoning/Fire/Cloudkill
    Shadow Dragon Wardstone
    Symbol of Amaunator
    Flail Heads (Acid/Cold/Fire)
    Pommel Jewel of the Equalizer

Can all these be forged into artifacts/weapons?
    Where is Cromwell?
What is your favorite place to stash stuff that is just becoming inventory drains?

    Thanks in advance

The only one of those that can be forged with the help of Cromwell(with no mods) is the pommel jewel of the equalizer. However, you have a long ways to go to get the other 2 parts of the Equalizer. The symbol of Amaunator can also be forged with the help of Cromwell if you have the item upgrade mod installed.

Cromwell is at the bottom right part of the Docks District, take the wooden stairs to get to his workshop. Myself, I never carry around stuff that I don't use, I just sell it for money.

Edit: Use the secret forge in the D'Arnise Keep to forge the Flail of the Ages.

If you need to stash stuff somewhere, do it in our stronghold. It won't get deleted, and since you probably go there often, it will be a convenient place. Or, as Rednik said, sell it for dinero.

    saber...what is "our stronghold"?

thanks for the tips. Those Wands of Lightning/Frost/Summoning/Fire/Cloudkill that were retrieved in the very first part of the game are no good? Just a means of escape?

    Thanks again

@St_Jeremy: he probably means "your stronghold", which you'll get later, by doing some quest. Though I just store the item in the Adventurer's Mart (in one of the bookcase), easy to access, and no one will ever steal them (talk about honest merchant :) ).

And those Wands of whatever can be used by your character, just place them in your quick item slots and you can use them. They have only one charge left though, so you will probably want to sell it to the merchant to "recharge" them, for a price.

Those wands are of limited use, although you can sell and buy them back to replenish their charges.

By "our stronghold" saber probably means whatever stronghold you get in the course of the game. If this is your first time though (and it certainly seems to be), then you'll figure it out. All classes get one eventually.

In case you missed Rednik's edit, you should have forged the flail of ages in d'Arnise stronghold. And when you visit Cromwell, you can have him tell you what items in your possession can be forged.
