Looking for Boo

    Hi everyone, having completed ToB several times i decided to use some of the mods. One of the mods is Unfinished business. I am fairly far into the game and Boo has just gone missing. I have since discoved from a previous topic that the trolls you encounter are impossible to kill. How do i complete the quest if i cant kill the trolls? can i simply uninstall it from my current saved point or do i have to start from scratch again?
    I'd really like to keep Minsc in the party as he is my favourate character but even with strength improving items and spells he just isnt the same without Boo. Any ideas?

    Go over to the site that sponsors Unfinished Business and go to the specific UB forum. IIRC, they have a very small download specifically for fixing the unkillable Troll problem.

    BTW, they can be killed, but it us such a pain. I did it with CNTL-K, and the usual acid arrow. And other have said to just back off from the trolls after wailing on 'em for a while, and they'll just drop.

    Regardless, go find the UB unkillable troll fix download and all will be well.

    Just as an aside, if your party is rather inexperienced, I'd suggest just working your way out of the Druid grove and not go looking for any additional battles other than those that stand between you and getting back to Athkatla. My poor party barely survived by their skin of their teeth after I was stupid enough to try to go into the troll mound.

    Without giving any spoilers, the "missing Boo" is actually quite amusing. ;)

    When I used the component, I didn't realise there was a fix. Now I know of it, I advise you to use that. Personally, I just used many Invisibility potions to avoid them.

    You can kill the trolls with spells that cause instant death (like chromatic orb) it worked for my bard.

    i decided that discretion was the better part of valour and downed loads of invisibility potions. I agree, the actual rescue of Boo was hilarious.

    you dont have to kill trolls. just haste them and run the hell out. thats what I did.. because I couldnt kill trolls either
