    [IMG] Hail and well met.

I just started Baldur's Gate...lets just say this...I schedule a vacation for next week so I can play non-stop for 9 days. Anywho, enough about obsessions, I'm at the mines on the 4th level and those damne Battle Horrors are kickin' my arse. I don't want a total spoiler but what is the best strategy against them, weaknesses etc.

    Thanks

    [IMG] Welcome aboard.

Hm, as far as strategies go, there isn't much of one to beat them...
Protect yourself with some clerical buff spells, get some good armor and hack&slash your way through them. Magic won't hurt them much, they're pretty resistant.

    [IMG] Thanks!

I already tried that a couple times, I finally bailed and went topside to up my level so now i'm 6th...i'm hurting in the dungeons though since i made Iomen or whatever her name is dualclass when she hit 5th level thief, now she is finally at 5th level mage but i got to get her up to 6th so i can have someone to detect traps...heh, i'm making every mistake in the book but still it's a blast.

If I remember correctly, there should be show traps that can be disarmed to prevent the Battle Horrors from even appearing. Then you only have to deal with that Mage.

Just get the tough blokes upfront with people with bows and arrows using 'special' ammunition to hammer them behind your tough blokes...
