Just need some first-hand feedback if you have used this set. What about the mouse that comes with it, as well?

I bought this one yesterday but I can still take something else (I desperately need a new keyboard... the mouse will still do). One of my other options was Labtec Ultra-Flat Wireless Desktop.

From those that aren't wireless and don't come with a mouse, I've been wondering about Logitech UltraX Flat and Labtec Ultra-Flat Keyboard.

So, feedback from users is much needed. Especially if you have used two or more from the list and can compare. Thanks in advance.

Well, comparison between wireless keyboards and mice, and those with normal cables is also welcome. Or between flat (ultra flat) and traditional keyboards. I need to be able to type fast and without looking, but the joints in my fingers cry for help all the time and let's not mention wrists...

As I still have a workable (and not bad) optical mouse on a cord and won't really move the keyboard around too much, shouldn't I rather go for the UltraX Flat one from Logitech and leave the cordless set idea alone?

Not sure what to say, but I can recommend Logitech's G5 (corded) and G7 (cordless). Combine it with "Revoltec Lightpad" and you have a top-notch mouse. For keyboards... Well; they all are the same. You don't really need those extra functions, so simply take the one that looks the best.

Actually, keyboards aren't all created as equal. There are two main types: the ones with keys that stick up as high as a skyscraper, and then there are the low profile keys that are similar to a laptop's keyboard. Now that I've had my laptop for so long, I can't type with out a low profile keyboard...like the Logitech diNovo Media Desktop. Mmmm...if only it wasn't so much $$$ :yum: :rolling:

It's cheaper here but still not in my reach if spending money on a keyboard goes. ;)

I can't really decide if I prefer high or low keys. I would think that typing on a traditional one is easier, but I still have to correct myself when I'm tired. And my fingers keep hurting. On the other hand, flat isn't so comfortable as I would have thought.

Actually, you get used to it really quickly, and after a week of using it, you can't live without it! But I already said that...so I'll shut up now. :thumb: :rolling:
