[IMG] heres my question, for the penalties for dual weild, if you have all the feats is -4, -4. but if offhand weapon id "light" the penalty is only
-2, -2. How do i know what weapons are "light" and wich ones are heavy. i know a short sword and dagger are light, but a shortsword is only 1 pound lighter then a long sword or scimitar. and a battle axe weighs about twice that of a longsword. is "light" a relative term, or does it mean anything under 4 pounds?
    thanks

there is 'absolutely light weapons' in the game. 'light weapons' differ from game to game. in iwd2 case, small blades (including daggers and short swords) and hand axes. frankly, i am not sure about the hand axes. (or is there any hand axes in iwd2?)

The only hand axes I have seen where the ones you could get in Targos. There are several throwing axes in the game but most can only be used as throwing axes. I think that Whispering staff you get from the goblin sorcerer in the prologue is a light weapon, but other than that you pretty much just have to check what equipping a weapon does to your BAB when dualing. Personally, for my rogue or my wizard I tend to stick with daggers or short swords for off hand weapons. For fighters, well longswords, axes and hammers are all good since their BAB is so high anyway.
