    Has anyone found this dagger: Leech +5? Where is it? I guess not a quest item...

    I've found it once in HotU but it was dropped by a random monster (pixie I think). I depends on your level.

    Heh, I just started a new topic (Powerful items in the OC). I think Leech was the name of the dagger I was refering to there (It has +3 vampiric regeneration, right?) I found it in Luskan, nondescript chest in one of the houses. (so I guess is a random drop).

    I think I found it somewhere in the Northlands... it was good, but I didn't play as a dual-wielder, and don't like daggers that much.
    That said... it's quite the blade, for a dagger. If it could only morph, like enserric... sigh :)

    Most treasure in NWN is random, including Leech. And of course, all chests are made by Schlesinger -- the game doesn't determine what's in them until you open them. There are some exceptions for plot-related items, but mostly they are generated on the fly. So, if you really want Leech, wait until you're fairly high level (at least 15, probably higher), then save your game before you open a boss chest. Keep reloading until you get it. Yep, that's cheesy, but it's about the only way to gaurantee you get it. Oh, and be patient -- there are a lot of items on the list of things that randomly appear when you open a boss chest. Sometimes you'll get a high level treasure at other times, too, but a boss chest is your best bet.
