    What we asked:

    Q: What is your opinion on Obsidian's decision to not include rideable horses in Neverwinter Nights 2?

    Rideable horses would have been a nice addition, but nothing essential (381) 44%
    All my hopes and dreams have been shattered (175) 20%
    It's good that Obsidian is not wasting any more time implementing rideable horses (121) 14%
    I would have preferred something else to be cut, so I'm not too happy (100) 12%
    It doesn't matter to me if rideable horses are in or not (92) 11%

    The relative majority of those who have voted (44%) feel that Obsidian's decision to cut horses from Neverwinter Nights 2 is not worth getting upset about.

    A fifth (20%) of the people who have voted, however, are sorely disappointed, possibly even angry about this omission.

    14% of the poll participants are actually happy that Obsidian is not wasting any more time trying to get mounts into Neverwinter Nights 2.

    Slightly fewer voters (12%) would have preferred something else to be cut and horses left in, but frankly, there's not much more left that hasn't been cut alongside horses...

    Lastly, 11% of our visitors who have voted don't really care if mounts are in Neverwinter Nights 2 or not.

    Here's a comment on the poll by our illustrious Sir Belisarius, echoing the thoughts of the minority:

    What a weak turn of events! One of the staples of DnD is having a horse to get around on - especially if you're a pally!

    Yet another poor game production full of cut corners. If there's nothing significantly new and innovative in NWN2 - Why not just make another NWN expansion? That's what NWN2 is starting to sound like, anyway.

    "All my hopes and dreams have been shattered"? :lol: Seriously, Tal, you make it sound so pathetic. :shake:

    Personally, I don't give a rat's pitoot about what they do to NWN2 since I was never going to get it in the first place. I didn't vote. But watching 175 people say 'All my hopes and dreams have been shattered' about rideable horses in a single game did give me much amusement. ;)

    I would never even have considered the possibility of having horses in a game, if the issue had not been raised here.
