Kuroisan, where are you?

Now that is weird. In my current campaign I have reached Brynlaw ASAP, and then came back to Athkathla to complete other quests. I also killed the Slavers, and got Celestial Fury. I also had the katana from Asylum, which also attracts Kuroisan.

In my last unfinished Chorister run he came too early, which was a shock. (as I had CLUA consoled the Asylum-katana for my sweetheart, Nathaniel, but that was a different story )

New problem is, even though I spent a lot of days in Athkathla before killing Bodhi and going to face JonBon. I completed all other stronghold quests, you know, killed Improved Lord Roennal, played on the stage for bard stronghold, etc, Kuroisan never appaered. Why?

I haven't used those katanas though, they always stayed in my bag of holding. My fiery and passionate kensai, Chloe, was dual-wielding her own scimitar and short-sword so I did not bother to give her proficiency for it. So, is it the cause why kuraoisan did not come?

I am in ToB now, if I start using the katanas, will he show up? If not, I can CLUA consol him, I tried it, and it works. (solak1) He comes, chit chats as normal and attacks, so thankfully it is not a mod bug-conflict-problem etc.

Any clue or insight would be appreciated.

 

I looked at the codes for you, Silverstar. According to them, he won't spawn unless you have the items equipped. Having them in the bag won't trigger him. So yes, it seems that if you equip the items, he will come.

 

Cool, Sikret, you are my hero! Thank you for helping me in such a petty matter, but I was worried sick that there was a mod conflict or whatever. Thanks for relieving me.

Do you know if he can sapwn in ToB part of the game too? Well, I will summon him via CLUA console and teach him a lesson (the fight is always cool, but we now have a distinct advantage:'slightly' higher levels and a few HLAs. har har har ) though I do not think anybody in my party will be using his uber acidic-poisoning katana. Killing him would be fun enough for me.

 

Yes, he will spawn in TOB as well (but you need to be in a city area).
