    Yeah . I think it looks pretty cool -- but $399 is a bit pricey. Probably will come down though.

    I was going to post about this too; got distracted and forgot about it.

    If I didn't have so many unread books on my bookshelf already I'd seriously consider it even though it's crazy expensive. The main thing I'd be concerned with is how durable the electronic paper is. Will the ink eventually fade being exposed to sunlight/bright light? I'd hope not for $400.

    Also, being only black and white, you lose the colorful cover art; and for magazines I'd imagine they'd be very different than the print version.

    It seems that you can get Kindle versions of the books around the same time the hardcover version is released for much cheaper; though if you're one to always wait for the paperback you won't be saving much if anything buying a Kindle version.

    I looked at the Kindle store a bit to see what fantasy books they had, and they had a reasonable selection; I'd imagine it will expand going into the future if it does well.

    As much as I hate Sony, I like the Sony Reader better. I've actually got to play around with it at the store, and I like how it looks and works. It's about the size of the paperback novel...so since I mainly read eMagazines...I woun't buy either of these products. :rolling:
