    Heroes of the Dark Prophecy

    Heroes of the Dark Prophecy (HotDP) is a third-person, single-player, story-driven RPG adventure set in a medieval dark fantasy world, where your choices influence the fate of a kingdom on the brink.

    Adapted from the classic boardgame Master's Quests Fantasy RPG (MQ FRPG), HotDP promises an immersive experience with deep lore, strategic gameplay, and the power to shape your own destiny.

    Developed by Literate Games in collaboration with 3Mind Games, this third-person, single-player experience leverages Unreal Engine 5 next-generation features, including the incredible Metahuman system.

    Adaptation
    A faithful digital incarnation of the Master's Quests Fantasy RPG' board game, this project translates its captivating board game adventures into an expansive video game world. Utilizing Unreal Engine 5, HotDP is an adaptation that respects the original's core elements of the classic game-its intricate systems, rich lore, and strategic gameplay-while modernizing mechanics for a real-time, 3D experience.

    Master's Quests Fantasy RPG (or MQ FRPG) is a boardgame (TTRPG) created by Dao Champagne (daosino) in 1987, enjoyed for its unique mix of storytelling, dicerolling, and character sheets. It offers a rich, dark medieval fantasy setting, blending high and low fantasy elements for an engaging, immersive experience that differs from the other settings.
